Transfer Evaluation Request

If you have taken courses at an out-of-state or private institution that you believe are applicable to Core Curriculum requirements, download and complete the fillable form below and attach required documentation. 

Contact the appropriate department or advising center if you need a course evaluated for major or minor requirements. Check your advising notes in your degree audit for information your academic advisor may have provided about these evaluations. Your advisor can provide additional information if you need help.

Please note that you must be an admitted Texas State student to submit this form.

The documentation should include at least one of the following required documents:

  • Course catalog description from the year you took the course
  • Table of contents pages from the textbook(s) used in the course
  • Course syllabus and/or course materials
  • Correspondence from the instructor explaining contents of the course
